Visualization of mathematics concepts with the support of ICT

Abstract

The article deals with the integration of technology in terms of visualization concepts in mathematics teaching at secondary schools. The visualization is understood as a means of improvement of mathematics teaching and learning and furthermore it serves as a motivation for students.

Integration of technology can develop a better understanding of abstract mathematical concepts by their visualization and may also promote constructivist approaches to teaching specific topics of school mathematics. The article presents several examples of the use of technologies for the visualization of concepts in geometry and algebra.
