Outcrop of the Silurian rocks in the Repechy trough on Stínava, Drahany upland, Moravia

Abstract

In Repechy trough (site Stínava), there was located outcrop of the Silurian graptolite shale by emanometry. The most importent information was obtained from the exploratory trench.

Small tectonic slice with outcroping area approximately 10x20 m was incorporated into devonian shales. Founded graptolite fauna proved rock age including upper Llandovery, upper Wenlock and pobably also the basal Ludlow.
