The concept of independent administrative tribunals and its possible application in immigration and asylum law with focus on Czech and Polish regulation

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the concept of independent administrative tribunals, from theoretical point of view and also in the light of judgments of European courts or domestic law in United Kingdom and Austria. Some of the existing authorities in the Czech Republic and Poland are considered in this context.

The conclusion of this work shows several possible applications of independent administrative tribunals, e. g. in immigration and asylum law.
