Abstract
In recent decades, countries around the world pay attention to third sector organizations, which become an important partner for implementing public policies. The third sector is associated with the concept of civil sector or the concept of social economy; both represent areas which are overlapping to a large extent.
Social economy exists along public sector; its entities are active in local conditions. It is associated with a threefold responsibility - an economic, a social and an environmental responsibility.
