Abstract

With the development of lasercoagultions technics is diabetic retinopathy well treatable in 21. century. We present history of lasertreatment of diabetic retinopathy and maculopathy, different types of lasercoagulators and laser contact lenses, we note become aware of a complications of lasertherapy.

We present figures of proliferative diabetic retinopathy before and after laserpanphotocoagulation. In the cases of diabetic macular edema we choose single spots to photocoagulation leacage from microanerysmas in focal DME, gridlasercoagulations to diffuse macular edema after fluorescein angiography.

The future in lasercoagulation in the therapy of DME is the treatment accuracy in DME using Navegated laser photocoagulation. This new laser photocoagulator use scanning slit funduscamera system with fluorescein angiography (FA), color, red-free and infrared paging capabilitieswith a computer steerable therapeutic 532 nm laser.

Aiming beam stabilisation compensated for patients eye movements. Its evaluace the imges to determine if the retinal opatification after treatment overlapped the targeted microaneurysm.
