Abstract
The extensively illustrated skillfuly organised text sumarizes the essential aspects of neurosurgery needet by undergraduate mediacal students and non-neurosurgical practitioners.The written information is supplemented by 90 ilustrations and 20 charts and diagrams. The purpose of first chapters (general neurosurgery) is to review the more common techniques available for diagnosis of diseases and lesions treated by neurosurgeons.
Next chapters cover most importand fields of special neurosurgery - congenital lesions affecting the nervous system, haed injury, vascular neurosurgery, neurooncology, intracranial and intraspinal suppuration, finctional neurosurgery, spondylosurgery and periferal nerve lesions.
