Abstract

This chapter is devoted to small items of a decorative nature that have been found during excavations of Jandavlattepa (in the Citadel, Shakhristan and gate sectors) in the 2002-2006 seasons. It includes descriptions of 116 finds, divided firstly by function, and then by the material from which they were made.

For two groups of items (bone pins, beads) the descriptions take the form of a table. In the case of bone pins, this is only partial - a table has been used for small fragments that cannot be specified.

Pins with preserved heads, meanwhile, are described in short texts. Beads have been divided into tables according to shape.

For other items, text descriptions have been chosen. The last group of finds consists of items that have been incompletely preserved or have suffered considerable damage, and so their purpose is not entirely clear.
