Chemistry at schools and real life. How successful are we in connecting them?

Abstract

An interview about current school education in chemistry and its problems. The main problem is that teaching of chemistry at schools has little to do with real life and the teaching methods are traditional.

For these reasons, it is a goal in chemistry teaching innovation to update the subject's contents and use more activizing methods and teaching approaches.
