The Question of Reference in Language of Contemporary Urban 'Skaz' Towards the Language of Reality in Prose of Sergey Dovlatov and Emil Hakl

Abstrakt
The article deals with some basic problems of reference in narrative techniques of current literary 'skaz'. It proposes three main areas (bipolar levels) of reference that the prosaic writings of both authors seem to imply: the level of relationship between the 'story' and 'plot', the fictional language of 'skaz' as opposed to the language of everyday communication; and pragmatic relations between the 'implied author' of fiction and the author himself.
