CLIL in the European Research in 2008 - 2012 and its Further Perspectives

Abstract

CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is currently regarded as a strategy of bilingual education which has the potential to succeed in the mainstream education. The aim of this paper is to present the results of the analysis of CLIL studies which were published in the International CLIL Research Journal between 2008 and 2012.

This article examines their objectives and research methodology and outline the perspectives of CLIL research in the following years.
