"I am the war I will dictate to everybody!" Medieval poetry as a source to our comprehension of the "war and peace" dicourse of its time

Abstract

The article focuses on the methodological aspects of the approach to Michault Taillevent's play "Arras lesson" (1435). The author defended the pivotal shift in the Burgundian politics and supported his arguments with traditional ideas of the destructive influence of war on the society.
