Reading with cemprehension of children with cochlear implant orientation (The analyse of Kaufman Test Resusults)

Abstract

The paper analyzes the state of understatnding of reading of pupils with cochlear implants in primary schools and mainstream primary schools for pupils with hearing impairment. The test Kaufman subtest Reading / understanding, which is non-verbal and is standardized for the population of 7 - 12.5 years old pupils was used for analyses.

It was found that pupils with cochlear implants are below average performance in reading with understanding than peers without hearing impairment.
