Abstract
May. 17th, 2011 we organized a workshop on the topic of the mitral valve preservation procedures and cryoablation procedures for atrial fibrillation. On this occasion Patrik Perier, one of the most respected surgeon visited our departement.
In his lecture, Mr. Perier stressed the principle of respecting the tissue above replacement with valvular prosthesis.
It was included the presentation of two operations with a direct transfer from the operating room into the auditorium with the possibility of interactive communication.
