Abstract
The chapter provides a review of recent advances in spin dynamics of magnetic vortices. It briefly demonstrates micromagnetic theory (using numerical and analytical approaches), experimental techniques, and recent results on steady state motion phenomena and the principles of dynamic switching of states on both isolated and coupled vortices.
