Abstract
As a part of international cooperation between two projects (The Czechoslovak Federal Assembly 1989-1992: Emancipation of a Legislature and Self-Parliamentarisation of a socialist representative body: The East German 'Volkskammer' between October 1989 and October 1990), the members of the two teams presented their first outcomes dealing with parliaments in state socialist regimes, the elite change in 1989-1990, and the role of media. The invited experts suggested methodological approaches concerning parliamentary politics as performance and the analysis of visual material.
