Abstract

This paper aims to materialize an attempt to understand if Maritime Spatial Planning could fit as element of Geopolitics of the Sea. As far as one could realize from the literature, this task constitutes a new effort on the geopolitical perspective towards the Ocean.

So the idea constitutes simultaneously the research question and the hypothesis, being the main objective and finality to test it clearly, through both qualitative and quantitative methodology, in the way to create a scientific structure to understand the maritime geopolitical reality
