From Burgundy to Hussite Bohemia - the Life od Philibert de Montjeu. Belated Reflections on the Biography of Philibert

Abstract

In the period of negiotations led by the Council of Basel with the Hussites became the Burgundese - Philibert, bishop in Coutance - the leader of council deputations to Bohemia. After the arranging of the Compactata he remained in Bohemia and organised renewal of church administration in this kingdom.

The study describes his life before the Council of Basel and establishes the form of his diplomatic and professional experience obtained before his journey to Bohemia.
