Obtaining telecommunication data as an instrument for investigation of internet crime

Abstract

The article deals with the legislation data retention as an important implement for the detection and investigation of crime in terms of the changes that have occurred as a result of legislation amendment. The author describes the development of legislation, highlights the changes brought by the amendment, as well as a comparison with the legislation of other EU Member States.
