Abstract
The subject of the present thesis concerns the interplay of Banach spaces and compact topological spaces. Compact spaces are closely related to Banach spaces.
They are in a kind of duality, so understanding the structure of some compact spaces helps in understanding properties of Banach spaces. For sake of consistency, the papers chosen for the thesis are devoted to two more narrow areas contained in Chapters 2 and 3.
