Enop lotrup es (Eo) rhinoceros sp, nov. and Eo (Ty rannotrup es) tyrannus subgen. nov., sp. nov. from India and Myanmar (Coleoptera, Geotrupidae)

Abstrakt

Two new species of the genus Enoplotrupes P.H. Lucas, 1869 are described, one of them in the new subgenus Tyrannotrupes subgen. nov.

The species Enoplotrupes (Enoplotrupes) rhinoceros sp. nov. from Myanmar and Arunachal Pradesh, India, ischaracterized mainly by having pronotal horn in both sexes relatively lon g an d furcate apically; E. (Tyrannotrupes) tyrannus subgen. nov. et sp. nov.by having anvil-shaped pronotal horn in male. Enoplotrupes subgenera are keyed and relevant diagnostic characters of the new species including external male genitalia are illustrated
