General public's standpoint to the establishment of the Jeseníky National park

Abstract

Based on long-standing practise it is appearent that universal need of the preservation of nature is not the only criterion when considering the establishment of a large protected area such as a national park. Another importnat limitation is the general public's attitude towards real or presumed restriction caused by the very existence of such a park.

This study dealt in particular with the circumstances of considering establishment of possible future National park Jeseníky.
