Abstract
University textbook provides overview of primate evolution and phylogeny since their origin till the evolution of recent forms of Homo sapiens. The textbook gives a new primate systematics based on synthesis of paleoscience, primate fossil and evolutionary anthropology during last 20 years.
The main goal of the textbook is to overview the most recent evidence and theories on hominid evolution since Miocene till Holocene including colonisation of the World by hominids.
