Abstrakt
The article deals with the position of a vocalic length in a phonetic and phonological system of a French and Czech language (contrastive analysis). It introduces the part of a corpus of a future thesis, namely reading of French sentences by the French native speakers and by the Czech speakers who study French.
The analyses of the corpus were done thanks to software Winpitch and PRAAT.
