The Influence of Stress on the Length of French Vowels: The Comparison of Production by Czech and French Native Speakers
Abstract
The article deals with the relationship of stress and vocalic length in French while the basis for verification of research hypotheses is the analysis of a read text. The first part is devoted to the comparison of vocalic length in Czech and French language.
The second presents the analysis of the given text, hypotheses and conclusions which were reached.
