Abstract
This was already 25. conference of the teachers of history and other social subjects. The participants were outstanding both Czech experts and experts from Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, USA.
The programme contained lectures followed by discussions, panel discussions, visit of Prague's monuments with specialized commentaries (e.g. The museum of the City of Prague, Slavic epopee etc.).
The lectures dealt with the contents of history school textbooks and with new approaches to historical events and contemporary events in international context. One full day was dedicated to history and history teaching in the Visegrad cooperation countries based on the project Visibility.
The proceedings will be published in a special volume.
