Abstract

Treatment of rapidly progressive rheumatoid arthritis may be difficult, if patient don't tolerate disease modifying drugs. In our case TNF inhibitor lead to short-term effect, but then disease relapsed. only third used biological drug, rituximab, secured lasting low disease activity.

Selection of successful therapy in difficult cases may be complicated, but it is essential for long-term results of treatment.
