Abstract
The scientific statements proceedings bring a whole range of findings. These findings were presented at the first International Scientific Conference of School Management that was held from June 7 to June 8 2012 in Prague.
Particular articles present a cut through current topics by individual academic workers. Their statements are original and academic and are based predominantly on their own research and source analyses.
The articles are divided into two sections according to the real running of the conference. The first section is called Contexts of School Management and it includes articles of Czech and Slovak academic workers and other professionals in the area of field development, comparative articles and an analysis of the situation in the Slovak Republic.
The second section is called Competencies of leading workers in education and it is focused on this particular area. There are presented researches in the Czech and Slovak Republic as well.
The situation in these states is compared to the situation in the United Kingdom. A part of the proceedings contains articles focused on relation of theoretic knowledge with practice.
The articles represent current views of founders, headmasters or pedagogic workers. These very important points of view of individual people are a valuable feedback for further research activities of academic workers.
Proposed scientific statements serve as an apparent benefit to the School Management field development in the Czech Republic.
