Abstract
Based on the many years of experience the author summarizes basic aspects concerning the impotance of examination procedures in the physiotherapist's practice. Question of sc. kinesiology diagnosics, locomotive behavior, evaluation of motion as wel as the importance of education, knowledge, experience, skills and intuition in the physiotherapist's practice are discussed.
