Guidelines for the administration of biological therapy in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases: 2nd edition

Abstract

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which belong to Crohn disease (CD), ulcerative colitis (UC) and unclassified colitis (IBDU) are chronic immune-mediated inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract of unknown etiology that is not medically curable. Biological therapy is currently the most effective treatment for these diseases.
