Abstract
The article analyses the Czech and Luxembourg episodes of the history of Mélusine by Jean d'Arras (c. 1393). It stresses the story of Mélusine's son, Rénaud, who reputedly defensed Prague against the Moslems a married an orphant heiress of the Czech throne.
