Relationship of motor tests and the evaluation results of profiling skills in rhythmic gymnasts training

Publication at Faculty of Physical Education and Sport |
2012

Abstract

The article presents results of motor tests in selected movement skills and the results of profiling skills evaluated by official rules. Results were compared using the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient.

The results of measurement showed that the values in motor tests and the execution of selected difficulty elements have no significant relationship. Tests are independent of each order and success in them are not similar.

The selected tests are still relevant for readiness inspection of gymnasts and for subsequent assessment of the level of physical skills development.
