Abstract
A handbook for teachers of natural history and science, focusing on the following topics of contemporary biology and their implementation in secondary school curricula: chemical composition of nucleic acids, central dogma of molecular biology, fundaments of human genetics and viruses. The theoretical part is followed by students' worksheets and practical laboratory tasks.
