This publication is focused on the experiences of university students with special education needs in educational enviroment. Special attention is given to barriers in education needs, and to strategies that these students found useful in overcoming the barriers.
Another important theme discussed is assistance when supporting university students with special education needs. An importnant parts of this publication is the analysis of attitudes towards "otherness" of students in primary and secondary schools, and also in university academic staff attitudes towards inclusive education.
The development of attitdes towards "otherness" is thus demonstrated on all levels of education.
