Abstrakt
Paper focuses the importance of violence for the erosion of legitimacy of the socialist dictatorship in Czechoslovakia. It analyzes the (i-)legitimacy of violence - both the state violence and the violence in society - and offers an analytical model to explain the rise of the ideology of non-violence, which belonged to most important motives in 1989 events in Czechoslovakia.
