Abstract

This monograph deals with the implementation of bilingual programs in the Czech Republic in secondary schools. It includes summaries of theoretical approaches to the issue of bilingualism and describes specific forms of bilingual education in the country.

It presents the results of research on the conditions of implementation of bilingual programs in relation to the curricular reform in selected schools. The publication is also a reflection of the results of research in the preparation of future teachers of foreign languages.
