Abstract
The chapter is dedicated to an area which is currently worldwide discussed as adapted physical activities. From the sports medicine point of view it deals with exercise testing and prescription in people with disability.
It points at benefits of physical activities, describes adaptations in exercise testing, possibilities and limitations of exercise prescription in people with different type of disability. It shows how the disability sport is organized and describes classification principles in paralympics.
