Abstract
In 24th - 26th August 2012, the 10th International Voice Symposium (International Voice Symposium; www.voicesymposium.com) in Salzburg was organized by the Austrian Voice Institute. The pre-symposium and workshop on "Interventional Laryngology" and "Indirect Phonosurgery in Office Procedure" took place on Friday 24th.
Among historical figures, prof. Sedlacek was mentioned by prof.
Nawka as a teacher of indirect laryngoscopy. The symposium continued 25th - 26th August with " Performing Arts, Medicine and Interventional Voice Care ".
The Czech and Slovak region was represented by dr. Dršata from Hradec Kralove and dr. Šebová from Bratislava / Erlangen.
