Abstract

The book deals with all types of Egyptian military architecture known from Pre-Dynastic to the New Kingdom and author describes in great details archaeological situations and types of forts built in different parts of Egypt: in eastern and western Delta, Nord-Sinai, Near East, in Nubia, as well as in smaller local sites.
