51. Otologic day, held on 1st December 2011 in the Education Center of the University Hospital Hradec Králové, was dedicated to the jubilee of prof.
Lubomír Faltýnek, the ex-chief of ORL Dept. Hradec Králové.
The topic lecture was referred by prof.Michaels: New Concepts in Otosclerosis Pathology. Following panel discussion was dedicated to the topic "objective methods of hearing examination and neonatal hearing screening".
The main news is a legalized neonatal screening in the Czech republic, valid from 1.1.2012.
