Diversity of ethnic minorities: spatial relocation and housing culture

Abstract

The publication solves the issues of the impact of cultural practices, identity attitudes, norms of status and social determination on housing culture and the way of housing of immigrant communities and ethnic minorities in the cities of the Czech Republic. It interprets not only the issue of housing as a condition of survival and the tendency of ethnic minorities to be concentrated locally or of segregation, but also as an expression of cultural identity question, a philosophical view on the own being, attitudes to family, friendly group, fulfilling personal ambitions and ties to a particular social group.

Reflected the housing of Belarusians, Bulgarians, Chinese, English speaking expatriates, Hungarians, Gypsies, Russians and Czech officials in Brussels.
