Abstract
The movement between substandard and standard variety of the Czech language is discussed. The movement from substandard variety toward standard variety in on the topic of the professional interest because of the complex of theoretical and practical linguistic activities concerned standard variety.
The reversed movement is not detected and the middles of expression with substandard origin are evaluated as changed its stylistic value from substandard to standard. Its real value however must be neutral or neutralized.
