Study deals with physical fitness in patients in the first year after renal transplantation. Objective of this study is to verify if the repeated testing (3 times in the first year, in a specified period) by the Senior Fitness Test battery presents results useful in physical intervention practice.
Research sample base is representative sample of patients after cadaverous kidney transplantation. Group A (48 patients, 26 men/22women, aged 52+-12 year, undergoing all three test in specified period) between the first and the second, and the second and the third testing statistical significantly improved in five test from six (Wilcoxon pair test, p<0,05).
Statistically significant difference between testing depending on number of days after transplantation in Group B (60 patients, 31 men/17 women, aged 51+-11 year, undergoing all three tests, with regular physical activity) was not proved (Mann-Whitney U test, p<0,05).
