PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS AND REALIZATION OFSCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Abstract

The paper deals with problems of physical education (PE) at upper primary schools after the introduction of educational programs (SEP) in practice. The results of the questionnaire survey at 218 primary schools show that the SEP PE joined approximately 60% of the current PE teachers.

Nearly 90% of these teachers perceived object assembly SEP PE as time consuming, more than half a professionally challenging. Only one third of teachers perceive the development of SEP for their work to be beneficial.

More than 80% of teachers within hours of PE solves theoretical topics in relation to the movement, sport and health. 15% of teachers admitted the absence of PE health related topics. Significant difference in responses between genders was observed.
