Abstract
The article deals with the question, how to understand Czech humanism, represented by both Milan Machovec and Karel Kosik, in terms of Althusser's theoretical anti-humanism. Czech humanism represented by Machovec and Kosik had under the ancient communism regime in Czechoslovakia anti-ideological function that Althusser appreciates only partially.
The article focuses on the dialogical subject in the works of Milan Machovec while the dialogical subject is seen as the form of the subject that could be used as source of Badiou's basic types of subject, especially a political subject.
