Abstract

Territory of Nile valley and delta, but also even vast territory of Eastern and Western desert did not escaped to the interest of late Romans. Text catches Roman presence in Egyptian oases, in Eastern and Western desert and describes desert trails and individual oases of the Western desert (Dakhla, Kharga, Farafra, Siwa with abandoned oases Areg and Bahren) in monitored period.
