Removing Preglottalization from Unit-Selection Synthesis: Towards the Linguistic Naturalness of Synthetic Czech Speech

Abstract

This paper represents another step towards the linguistic naturalness of synthetic Czech, aiming to eliminate undesirable occurrences of the so-called parasitic speechsounds, specifically preglottalization, from synthesized speech.
