Abstract
The sacred area is in the article understood as a human creation that serves its purpose. Human beings create sacred areas in the world and between heaven and earth.
Telos of sacred area is researched at the examples of sacred space in archaic societies, in classical Greece, in Judaism, in Christianity and in Islam. Telos of sacred area dwells in the assembly and convocation that symbolize the whole world.
