Interaction and communication in criminal investigation from psychological point of view

Abstract

The book focuses on selected aspects of interaction and communication between the investigator and the investigated person in the investigation of serious crime. It deals with the terms of the investigation, important aspects on the side of investigated person and investigator.

It focuses on the testimony and possible problems in the process of gaining the testimony, included is the topic of confession. Another chapter contains information about social pressure, which occurs in the investigation.

Specific attention is paid to interviewing techniques and their use in different countries. The book is closed by the issue of videography.
