Abstrakt
The study deals with the picture of the Upper-Lusatian town league, the so called Six-Towns, in the Zittau's town chronicles from the early 17th century on the basis of analysis of ca. 10 chronicle manuscripts. The author states, that the Six-Town-League was very few present in the town chronicles from that time and the annalists concentrated themselves only on their own towns.
This result (low interest in neighbouring towns) corresponds to the newest chronicles' analysis from other German towns.
