Abstract
This article deals with Cambridge exams for the age group 7 - 15. It includes the three exams from the category Cambridge English: Young Learners as well as the exams Cambridge English: Key for Schools, Cambridge English: Preliminary for Schools and Cambridge English:First for Schools.
The levels of The Common European Framework of Reference the exams correspond to are mentioned as well. Additionally, individual papers, parts and numbers of questions which each exam consists of are introduced.
Time requirements for individual papers are mentioned as well. Furthermore, the way exam results are presented is explained.
The author of the article gives readers some advice on what to do if they want their pupils to take an exam.
